An Epsom man is facing drug charges after police say he was driving at 108 mph on Interstate 93 in Hooksett early Thursday.
Thomas Young, 39, faces charges of aggravated driving under the influence and possession of a controlled drug believed to be cocaine, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Trooper Anthony Pratt was monitoring traffic on I-93 when he clocked a vehicle traveling north at a high rate of speed at approximately 2:20 a.m. Pratt was able to conduct a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as Young, who police say was under the influence of drugs.
Young was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord at a later date.
