Plan on voting in the 2020 New Hampshire presidential primary this February? In the midst of all the buzz, it’s easy to forget that an important deadline is right around the corner. This Friday, Oct. 25, is the last day for Granite State voters to change their party registration for the primary.
That deadline isn’t a factor for independents, who can choose to pick up a Democratic or Republican primary ballot on election day. But if you’re a registered Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or other party member and want to vote in a different primary, you’ll need to speak to your town or city clerk by Friday.
