Voters in Wards 5, 6 and 7 in Concord should inform themselves about school board candidate Max Schultz. He is definitely not a single-issue candidate.
His background in public safety matches the school district’s need, that of student safety. He holds a management position in the public sector and understands the clear thinking needed for both creating policy and adhering to those guidelines.
He is familiar with public sector union negotiations. He is interested in a performance audit of school administration in order to determine what happened (or didn’t happen) in these turbulent times. He believes that will move the board toward fixing the problems and re-establishing community trust. He understands that this board faces other issues: continuing union negotiations, facing the challenges of a new middle school and providing for reconvening a school charter commission. His ideas and experiences seem to be a perfect fit for board membership.
Voters in Wards 5, 6 and 7 have an opportunity to vote for a man motivated by the right reasons and one who would bring stabilization to both policy and performance by the Concord School Board as it carries out its responsibilities.
