“The main hope of a nation lies in the proper education of its youth,” yet at nearly $1.6 trillion, student loan debt exceeds credit card debt.
Gun violence claims tens of thousands of lives each year yet we do nothing to strengthen our gun laws.
We are destroying our planet because of climate change caused by human activity yet continue to burn more and more fossil fuels.
We have a racist president who is a demagogue and lies to us every day yet 94% of Republicans strongly support him.
