Davison’s accomplishments will be recognized at an open reception at 161 Main St., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The formal presentation by the state will be at 10 a.m. Refreshments will follow and everyone is invited.
■The Chichester Food Pantry, in conjunction with the Capital Region Food Pantry, will be sponsoring holiday food baskets in December. Nearly 2,000 pounds of food was distributed to Chichester residents during the Christmas season last year. Applications are available at the clerk’s office and due before Dec. 1. ■The library is currently hosting “Moving On,” an exhibit of paintings by Strafford artist, Marilyn Price. This colorful show is so named because most of the works represent motion, or the possibility of it. The exhibit will be on display through Saturday during regular library hours.
