Local elections are coming up, and I’m happy to see so many Byron Champlin signs peeking out and around leaf piles throughout the city.
I met Byron a few years ago while shoveling dirt and planting flowers at the White Park spring cleanup. He welcomed me into the community group, Friends of White Park, and I have been working with him ever since. Byron is thoughtful, open, engaging and smart. Byron is dedicated to our city. Although his own kids are grown, he cares deeply about making Concord a wonderful and welcoming home for families like ours – families with young children seeking strong community connections.
So, as you pass by the red, white and blue Byron Champlin signs in your neighborhood, be confident that Concord has a city councilor who will show up and work hard for you, your family and your city. I look forward to voting to re-elect Byron on Tuesday, and I hope you’ll do the same.
