Highlights: The Falcons turned up the defensive pressure this time around after letting Souhegan score 31 points in last week’s season finale. Bow jumped out to a 22-0 lead behind a pair of short touchdown runs for Guerrette and a 35-yard TD scamper for quarterback Beaulieu. The Sabers scored their lone touchdown with a long pass in the second quarter, but the Falcons continued to pile on before the half. Beaulieu found Larrabee on a deep pass for a score and Guerrette scored his third TD of the day to make it, 36-7, at the break. Rolla was the story for Bow in the second half, adding touchdown runs of 35 and 65 yards. Bow will now host No. 5 Hollis Brookline in next week’s semifinals.

Highlights: The Redhawks avenged a regular-season blowout, routing the Huskies in Swanzey in the D-III quarterfinals. The Redhawks dominated both sides of the ball, gaining 511 yards – 407 of them on the ground – and the defense disrupted Monadnock’s passing game, reversing the fortunes of its 52-20 loss on Oct. 11. Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton will travel to No. 1 Lebanon (9-1) for next weekend’s semifinals.

Highlights: The Bears went down 7-0 early in the first quarter, only the second time Winnisquam has trailed all season, but bounced back to take a 14-7 halftime lead and 27-7 lead through the third quarter. The top-ranked Bears advance to the D-IV championship game against No. 3 Fall Mountain (6-2), who routed No. 2 Raymond, 37-0, in the other semifinal.
Coach’s quote: “We started out pretty slow and flat, I don’t think the bye week helped us to be honest, but we talked to the kids and made some adjustments at halftime and we regrouped.
