Local Baskit, a locally-based meal subscription service, is diving into the holiday season with a Flannel and Frost Celebration featuring several events for all ages.

The fun begins on Friday night when visitors can check out Local Baskit’s holiday offerings. There will be three wine stations with chardonnays, cabernets and Summit Winery of New Hampshire. You can also test beers, ciders, cheese, cookies and more.

On Saturday the day is filled with back-to-back activities. The morning begins with a decorating workshop for table-setting and centerpieces. Guests will watch a demo, learn tips and tricks, and get to take home a book of ideas for holiday tablescapes.

There will also be workshops on the kon mari method of folding with Wash Street and a meditation session with Becca Stephens of PranaSTRONG Yoga and Wellness.

There will be lunchtime and dinnertime sessions of Frosty Selections Tastings where you can try cold beers and you can order discounted pre-orders on holiday baskets and gifts.

In the afternoon, learn how to assemble a tasty charcuterie board and try some cheese, crackers and meats. You can also pre-order a holiday party charcuterie board.

Also in the afternoon, dietitian Ann Petersson will discuss healthful holiday dishes that will leave you feeling energized during this time of year.

Kids can get ready for Thanksgiving at two craft sessions; there will be one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There will be three options for crafts: pie garland, turkey napkin rings and Oreo turkeys.

View the full schedule of this week’s events on Page D2. Most of the sessions are free, but some require advance registration.

The Flannel and Frost Celebration will continue on Nov. 21 with a Beaujolais Day Wine Tasting, Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30, Tipsy Tree Making on Dec. 6 and a Fudge and Beer Pairing Day on Dec. 11.
