Thanks to Dennis Jakubowski for writing a letter to the editor on Nov. 12 about Mike Pence’s visit to New Hampshire. I’d like to add to it by pointing out the irony that so much security was needed because of fear of people toting guns at the State House. Wasn’t a bill making it legal to carry a concealed, loaded gun in New Hampshire without a license (SB 12, 2017) passed by New Hampshire Republicans in 2017, and wasn’t it the very first bill signed by our not-so-moderate Gov. Chris Sununu?
