With December around the corner, it’s only a matter of time before the city of Concord sees its first major snowfall.
That means city residents will also be seeing parking bans coming into effect.
Overnight parking is allowed on all streets in Concord and Penacook, except during winter storm event parking bans, winter maintenance parking bans and emergency parking bans.
The parking bans are necessary in order for road crews to plow.
Those who park on the street in violation of a winter storm event parking ban, winter maintenance parking ban or emergency parking ban are subject to having their vehicles towed and impounded at their expense, as well as a $100 ticket.
Parking bans will be advertised on the city website and shared on social media. To stay ahead of when a parking ban may be coming into effect, residents can sign up for parking ban alerts at concordnh.gov/winteroperations.
