■The Baker Free Library Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign began Giving Tuesday, a global movement that encourages charitable giving during the holiday season. The library’s goal is to raise $10,000 through Dec. 31. All monies raised will be invested in the Baker Free Library Endowment Fund. Checks should be made payable to the BFL Foundation, with the word “endowment” noted on the memo line. Donations should be mailed to the library or dropped off at Baker Free Library, 509 South St., Bow, NH 03304. ■The Merrimack County Stamp Collectors will meet at the Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South St., on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in stamp collecting is welcome to attend, share their interest, buy, sell and trade, meet other collectors and learn more about this hobby. ■Bow Mills United Methodist Church is holding a Blue Christmas Service for people dealing with a death in the family, a loss or broken relationship, hardship or because of painful memories of Christmases past. This special service will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. and will include candle lighting and healing prayer. Light refreshments will be offered after the service.

■Chair Yoga with Sherry Gamble will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the library. Dress comfortably and arrive before 10:30 a.m. so everyone can start on time.
■Wednesday at noon in the library, come to the No Book Book Party! Share some holiday goodies and plan out the book discussions for the coming year!
■The Spireside Coffee House and Open Mic will be held at 6 Stark Highway North in the center of Dunbarton on Saturday at 7 p.m. This will be an open stage night. Doors open for signups at 6:30 p.m. Musicians, poets, and storytellers are welcome. The coffee house will have an eclectic mix of eight to 12 local performers for your listening pleasure. Suggested donation of $5. Soup, tea, coffee and snacks are also available to purchase.
■Holiday parties at the elementary school will be held Dec. 22 from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. The holiday school break runs Dec. 23 through Jan. 1.
■Town offices will be closing noon to 1 p.m. on Dec 24. Offices are closed Dec. 25.

■Weare School District board meeting is Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Weare Middle School library. The Default Budget will be presented.
■Weare Middle School and Center Woods Upper Elementary School will hold their Winter Concert on Wednesday with band and chorus at 7 p.m. in the Café. Thursday is Family Fun Night at 6 p.m. in the Café.

■Henniker Rotary Club has launched their Community Flag Project – a national program being offered in Henniker and Weare for the first time. For a $50 donation, club members will display an American flag at your home or business on five patriotic holidays in 2020.

■Tai Chi on Tuesdays at Twelve at the N.H. Telephone Museum basement, 1 Depot Road (next to library). Tai Chi will start up again on Jan. 14, to run for six weeks for $30. Taught by certified instructor Marcia Wyman, the class covers basic tai chi movements for balance, flexibility, strength and mental concentration. Marcia teaches a modified Yang form for those over 55 years, easy and safe for everyone.
■Main Street Warner Mural Project coordinators are looking for artists to develop a distinctive painted mural artwork that celebrates the history and promotes the town of Warner. Submission deadline is March 1. Full request for proposal can be found at warnerhistorical.org.
■The Warner Economic Development Advisory Committee, in partnership with the Warner Historical Society and citizens of Warner, seeks proposals for a public art mural project. New Hampshire artists are invited to submit a proposal for this exciting opportunity to provide a large scale work of art to be displayed prominently in the center of our village. Located in the heart of town, this permanent outdoor installation will be visible to locals and visitors for years to come.
■The town of Warner is a small rural town located in Merrimack County with a vibrant Main Street, proud past and bright future. It is soon celebrating its 250th Anniversary for which this mural installation will be a part. Warner’s long history is rooted in agriculture, small scale industry and has also long been a home to many artists and writers.
■The RFP is open to all N.H. artists or artist teams with legal status to work within the United States without preference to racial or ethnic origins, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or disability.
