Firefighters from several area towns responded to a house fire on Steele Drive in Bradford on Thursday.

Dispatch received a report of a fire off Gillingham Drive, across from Whitman Park, at 7:45 p.m. Firefighters were able to eventually enter the home to extinguish the fire after a few hours, the fire department wrote on its Facebook page. They also wrote that the cold and a lack of water impacted firefighting efforts. Fire crews from Henniker, Warner, Newbury, New London, Washington, Hopkinton, Weare, Hillsborough, Bow and Webster responded.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
