I have a thought: Most voters in the United States are sick of politics and the way we’re being represented or manipulated by our elected representatives. We’re sick of reading about how many of our elected representatives – career politicians – have become millionaires as a result of their “public service.”

The thought I had continues thus: Why not make this election about limiting Senate and House terms to two, just like the presidency? Why not make the elections about decreasing congressional paychecks? Why not force them to use the same insurance plans we use – Obamacare or individual (or group) private pay? Why not make this election about the United States taking back the power, instead of leaving it with the two parties? Why not tell Congress that we are capable of thinking for ourselves, rather than allowing ourselves to be controlled by our political party? Tell those seeking election and re-election that you won’t vote for them unless they make a pledge limiting their own power over you.
