I am enthusiastically supporting Dan Feltes to be our next governor. Dan doesn’t come from a family of privilege; he comes from a working-class family that struggled. He then dedicated his entire life to public service of others.
Right out of law school Dan worked as a legal aid attorney for New Hampshire Legal Assistance for about a decade. There, he stood up for low- to middle-income families and our most vulnerable, including seeking and getting legal protections for safety, security and housing for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
As a three-term state senator, he is unwavering in standing up for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, including collaboration on complicated legislation to make sure survivors’ rights are both reflected and advanced.
As governor, I know Dan will walk into that role like he has in all others, focused on helping people who need it most, especially survivors. I hope you’ll join me in supporting Dan to be our next governor – truly a people’s governor.
