Will there ever be a truly peaceful world without a threat of atomic annihilation? Must we fight a war to end all wars that will give us the answer? Does the Bible answer this question? Here’s my theory for fighting future wars, simplistic as it may be.
We go before the U.N. and tell everyone we stand for a peaceful settlement for all disputes. We tell dictators around the world, including China, that any infringement on our territories will be met with all-out retaliation meant to destroy the threat until there is no more threat. Will other countries trust us to be the referee? Leaders have to agree to start the conversation.
We can position our submarines around the world, their position unknown but ready to deal a lethal blow to anyone who wants to fight. At the same time, we agree to bring all our troops back home immediately and start rebuilding bridges and roads and infrastructure in this country. And we tell the military-industrial complex to find other means of doing business.
The world needs to see peace as the better way to live than to fight over territory and religious matters. Let others have their own faith and live it. Nobody else’s business. In our early school grades, teach the Bible and U.S. history. Get rid of political correctness and develop a new vetting system for professors in all the colleges that take government subsidies. Get rid of the commies. We may not have more time left to find our way.
