Concord at Dartmouth Relays
Key players: Concord – Vose O’Sullivan (4th 800), Brayden Kearns (9th 1 mile), Manny Feliz (9th 55 hurdles), Sam Hilts (10th 800), 4×800 (9th)
Highlights: Concord finished 40th out of over 50 teams at the two-day Dartmouth Relays. The Tide had several top 10 finishes, but O’Sullivan’s fourth-place finish in the 800 was the only scoring performance. The 4×800 of O’Sullivan, Kearns, Hilts and Rovanee Nickson finished ninth.
Pembroke 3rd, Merrimack Valley 4th at Plymouth State
Key players: Pembroke – James Dupuis (1st high jump, 2nd 55 hurdles, 3rd shot put), Jacob Marden (3rd 600, 4th 55 hurdles), Harry Army (3rd long jump, 6th 300), Tyler May (4th 55, 4th shot put, 6th long jump), Nicholas Kafkoulas (5th 55), Peter Landry (5th shot put); MV – Seth Baylus (2nd 55, 2nd 300, 2nd long jump), Isaac Linscott (2nd 600), Cam Butt (3rd 600), Ethan Dodenhoff (5th 3,000, 6th 600), Mark Mercier (5th 1,000), 4×400 (3rd)
Highlights: The Spartans had a great day from Dupuis, who won the high jump at 5-8 and also had top-three finishes in his other events to lead Pembroke to third place out of 13 teams at UNH. Coe-Brown (53 points) and Hollis Brookline (50) were the top two teams, while Pembroke (44), MV (38) and Campbell (30) rounded out the top five.
Bow 4th, Bishop Brady 7th at UNH
Key players: Bow – Gabe Neff (1st 1,000), Ben Neff (1st 1,500), Colin Lessard (1st 3,000, Adem Aricanli (3rd 1,000), 4×400 (1st); Bishop Brady – Mark Galvin (2nd 55 hurdles, 5th long jump, 5th high jump)
Highlights: The Falcons were paced by their strong distance runners with Gabe Neff winning the 1,000 (2:53), Ben Neff winning the 1,500 (4:35) and Lessard winning the 3,000 (9:33). That trio joined with Aricanli to win the 4×400. Division I Alvirne (78 points), Winnacunnet (58) and Spaulding (54) were the top three teams, while Bow scored 34 to finish fourth out of 10 teams. Galvin scored all nine of Brady’s points to lead the Giants to seventh.
