■The Concord Knights of Columbus No. 110 members were represented in the recent March for Life Rally at the State House recently. There were hundreds of people who participated in this rally. The Concord Knights had members with their Fourth Degree Sash on marching from the State House to the Health Center on South Main Street. Also waklling were Rev. Christian Tudor from the All Saints Anglican Church and several priests from the Episcopal and Catholic Churches.
■The Kiwanis Club of Concord will have a meeting on Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Red Blazer Restaurant on Manchester Street. The Club is planning on the revival of the annual 64th Spring Fair to be held at the Everett Arena, May 14 to 17. We are hoping that Miller Amusements of Webster will be able to provide the amusement rides. Many of us missed this annual event last year, due to the lack of workers for the rides and games. This event is the biggest fundraiser for the Kiwanis.
■The Concord Lions Club are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local communities, as well as communities worldwide. The volunteer efforts go by support of vision care, addressing the unmet health care and education needs worldwide. ■The Grange has received notice that Kathlyn Quig, an 89-year-old member of the Grange has passed away. She served as State Grange Pomona in the mid-1950s and served on other committees. Concord Grange will drape its charter at the regular meeting in March. I am looking for a member or someone who can repair stuffed toys with eyes or other facial parts that have fallen off.
