Pittsfield trailed by as many as 12 in the forth before they picked up the defensive pressure and took the lead for the first time in the game with 3.7 seconds to go. A failed heave by Farmington put the game in OT. OT belonged to the Panthers who scored off the tip and never relinquished the lead.
Coach’s quote: “After poorly played 24 minutes, we managed to pull it together and play like a team. Defensively we forced Farmington into turnovers and were able to get out in transition and score. The defensive efforts of MacGlashing and Bedell in the 4th quarter gave us the energy to come back. ” – Pittsfield’s Jay Darrah
