We are now in the darkest period in American political history. The good news is that it will soon end.

Adam Schiff called 17 witnesses before his committee. None were allowed to be cross-examined by Republican members of the committee. Of those examined in the “bunker,” several of the transcripts have yet to be released to the public. The 18th witness was the inspector general. His report was never released to the Senate.

House rules allow the minority to have one day of hearings and the ability to call witnesses. Adam Schiff broke this rule and denied the minority their opportunity to be heard.

When his findings were released to the full House, it did not include any fact-based testimony that even hinted at alleged impeachable offenses.

New Hampshire’s two congressional members voted like brain-numbed Pelosi robots. Rather than deliver the articles forthwith, she withheld them for 33 days and then tried to maneuver the Senate into calling more witnesses. Can you imagine the political food fight that would happen if both parties were to call as many witnesses without adding or detracting to the procedures?

Will this be the new normal if the Republicans take over the House and the Democrats take over the White House? I hope not.
