Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up the State of the Union text on national TV to show disrespect for the president. But she showed disrespect to the improved standard of living for the workers of our country.
This is the same mistake that the Democrats made during the Obama-Biden administration. They neglected the condition of workers. President Trump recognized that neglect and won the presidency promising to improve workers’ conditions.
Pelosi disrespected the lowest unemployment rate for African Americans in 50 years. She disrespected Gen. Charles McGee, one of the last surviving African Americans of the World War II Tuskegee Airmen. She disrespected that fact that the pension funds of working people, teachers, police and firefighters are more valuable because of the rising stock market.
She disrespected the fact that a third-grader got a scholarship to go to the school her parents thought best for their child’s needs. She disrespected the fact that Mexico, Canada and China will treat our workers more fairly in trade agreements. She disrespected the fact that the president got China to stop exporting fentanyl to New Hampshire and killing our citizens.
You might think the Democrats would have learned why they lost the last presidential election, but I guess not.
