ConcordTime for singing

Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. is indeed โ€œA Grand Time for Singing,โ€ as the Concord Community Concert Association presents a first-time gathering of three leading New Hampshire choruses with 100 beautiful voices in a unique concert showcasing the remarkable musical talent in our state. The third event in the CCCAโ€™s 89th season at Concord City Auditorium features the New Hampshire Master Chorale, the New Hampshire Gay Menโ€™s Chorus, and the Suncook Valley Chorale all performing their own special selections and then joining together for โ€œLet There Be Peace on Earth.โ€ And finally, with the audience joining in, for โ€œIโ€™d Like to Teach the World to Sing in Perfect Harmony…โ€ Imagine 600 voices, or the world, singing that piece. With the City Auditoriumโ€™s ultra-bright acoustics, the afternoon concert will be a grand time for music and for the audience. Tickets are $20 and available at Gibsonโ€™s Bookstore and The UPS Store, both on South Main Street in Concord, for cash or check only, and also at the door.
