If you thought this winter has been less snowy than years past, you’d be right – and wrong.

Before Tuesday’s snowstorm, about 35 inches of snow had fallen in Concord so far this season, which is just a smidgeon less than the 37 inches that had fallen at this point last year, according to statistics from the National Weather Service.

Based on historical averages, however, this winter has seen about 8 inches less snow than normal.
