New Hampshire Housing is holding free Homebuyer Fairs during the month of March!

Get started on the path to homeownership at New Hampshire Housing’s annual Homebuyers Fairs. These free fairs provide prospective homebuyers with resources to help them become homeowners.

The Concord Homebuyers Fair will feature a variety of exhibitors including lenders, real estate companies, non-profit housing agencies, title companies, and state and federal agencies.

In addition, New Hampshire Housing offers a number of free on-site seminars about various topics the day of the event. Attendees will learn how to establish good credit, how to determine which mortgage is right for them, how to start their search for a home, the basics of home inspections, and so much more.

“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for potential buyers to become better prepared and feel comfortable with buying a home,” says Ignatius MacLellan, managing director of New Hampshire Housing’s Homeownership Division.

Attendees can learn about down payment assistance programs and the Homebuyer Tax Credit program, which provides a federal tax benefit of up to $2,000 every year that the homeowner lives in their home and continues to have a mortgage.

There will be a seminar on the 2020 housing market, answering questions such as “What is a realtor and how do you find one?” “Is it a buyer’s market or a seller’s market?” and “When is the right time to buy?”

The Concord Homebuyers Fair will be held Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grappone Center, 70 Constitution Avenue, in Concord. There will be dozens of exhibitors on-site!

Three additional fairs will also be held:
