Harry Judd has been the key selectman in Bow for more than the 12 years that I have lived here. His contribution to the town has been major. He is an expert in town development, knows all aspects of town planning and administration, and is committed to maintaining the high quality of Bow schools, a major asset in the town.
The editor of the Bow Times is against Harry Judd for personal reasons, not because he does not recognize his talents, though the editor would claim otherwise. This is unfortunate.
My exposure to the person running against Harry Judd occurred as a member of the Bow Zoning Board. He came for a review of concerns on a property he owns and his behavior was hostile and disrespectful of the members of the board. He accused the zoning board of bias. Since neither I nor several other members of the board had ever met him or heard criticism of him, this was news to us. His manner was not conducive to good working relations or solving the problem. If he were to bring any of that attitude to the selectman position, it would be a real loss to Bow.
I strongly support the continued service of Harry Judd because of his intellect and commitment. The town of Bow could not have a better steward of the town’s resources.
