Harry Judd has spent countless hours helping the residents of Bow. He has served on numerous town committees, and on the board of selectmen, including time as chairman. Using common sense and always looking at the bottom line, he has helped Bow work through numerous challenges. He has helped position Bow to replace lost tax revenues from the Merrimack Station power plant by extending municipal water and sewer services to the Route 3A area to make Bow more attractive to new businesses, such as the Exel Liquor Distribution Center.
Bow is now working on developing the Bow Mills mixed-use area near Interstate 89 Exit 1, and we’ll need Harry’s experience and leadership again. Harry helped the town listen to the residents and work through changes to lower the cost of Bow’s safety center so that the bond was passed and the building constructed. Now our first responders have a suitable and safe workspace.
He has helped collect thousands of food items to support those in need, and to clear homes so they are more accessible to our first responders during an emergency. He has helped with numerous service projects around our town, including the development of the trail system in the Hammond Nature Preserve.
Harry is always giving something back to the community. Harry is an outstanding example of servant leadership for all of us, but especially for our youth. Please join me in voting for Harry Judd for selectman.
