Over the past week, Concord Hospital changed its visitor policy to limit and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to protect the health of the patients and staff. To that end, the hospital is restricting patient visitors with the following exceptions: pediatrics with one parent or guardian only; maternity, partner only; patients at end-of-life may have one visitor at a time. The hospital staff met with incoming visitors and asked what their visit was for and in some cases, made arrangements to meet outside the facility.
