People are worried about golfing during this time (Monitor front page, March 4)? That was given front-page rights too?
There are so many extremely more important issues going on in New Hampshire right now. People are putting their lives on the line each and every day to protect us all and save lives. But you are worried about your golf games?
Students have had their sports canceled and graduations canceled, what they’ve worked for their whole lives. Their proms, which are a rite of passage, have been canceled and they’ve lost days of spending time with their friends before college begins. But you are worried about golfing?
Why don’t you stop taking up the governor’s time right now when he has life-and-death decisions to make and instead set up some golfing areas in your own yard. Create holes or areas to practice putting in and rig up a drop cloth that can be used for practicing your swings and long shots. But please stop complaining.
Step back and look at the bigger picture. Everyone is making sacrifices.
