I thoroughly enjoyed the April 5 issue of the Sunday Monitor.
The short article about Wilbur the Pig, eschewing grain intended for goats and holding out for pizza, made me laugh out loud. Heartening, too, that people responded to Wilbur’s plight and provided him with his preferred grub.
It was a delight to see a full page of Geoff Forester’s photos. As always his images are precisely framed and loaded with detail. His custom mask, created by Monitor colleague Sarah Pearson, was a nice touch.
Although some people imbibe in fake news, I prefer news gathered, edited and published by my local, independent newspaper – the Concord Monitor. Keep up the good work.
