One person was taken by ambulance to Concord Hospital early Tuesday morning following a rollover crash in the city.

The individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the two-car accident reported at about 8:14 a.m., Interim Fire Chief Guy Newberyย said.

One vehicle was traveling east on Centre Street and the other was traveling North on North State Street when they collided, Deputy Police Chief John Thomas said.ย

โ€œThe cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it appears one of the operators went through a red light,โ€ Thomas said.

Newbery said firefighters responded with a ladder truck as initial reports indicated that someone was trapped inside the vehicle that had rolled onto its roof. However, thatย person was able to get out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived on scene, he said.
