I just wanted to convey my sincere thanks and appreciation to the employees of the brick-and-mortar retailers of the area and nation.
They’re all selflessly sticking to their posts despite the obvious health concerns.
Many of us cherish the ability to interact with actual people when shopping. (My main destination is Market Basket on Ft. Eddy Road, but all of us have our faves.) We can readily see how pleasant and effective they are in our direct interactions.
And this is the group and industry so threatened by the Amazons of the world. The Amazon warehouse employees are probably nice as well, but we’ll never know for sure. What we do know for sure is the high quality of the employees that we do directly deal with.
Our country is soon to undergo massive and profound changes as a result of COVID-19. But I hope the retailer in-person shopping experience never changes. Thanks again.
