Like many of us, I’ve been catching up on my reading lately.

In a book titled These Men I Knew, published by E.P. Dutton in 1940, the author, Rosita Forbes, after a June 1933 interview with Adolf Hitler, wrote the following: “Hitler’s simplicity was infectious, but it seemed to me that, in the chancellor’s mind, German obligations to Germany would take precedence over German obligations to the rest of the world. For, like the majority of his compatriots, Adolf Hitler finds it impossible to comprehend foreign points of view.”
