■While cleaning out closets, attics, etc., during this stay-at-home period, please do not toss anything that might be of historical interest to the Franklin Historical Society such as photos, commemorative banners, posters, programs, period clothing or letters, Contact Leigh Webb at 934-8222 and he can guide you on what may be of value.

■The Thrift Closet is moving across the street to 357 Central St. The Closet hopes to open on June 1. Please wait until the Closet is open and ready to accept donated items. The Closet is a wonderful asset for our community and appreciates your continued support.

■The Three Rivers Republican Committee is hosting an informational night on New Hampshire’s response to the coronavirus. The Committee has invited the Governor’s office to send someone to talk about the Emergency Orders in effect. Representative Werner D. Horn will be on hand to answer questions related to the response, as well as questions on N.H. Employment Security and the N.H. Department of Education. This event is open to all on June 3 at Franklin Pizza Chef, 418 North Main Street, at 6 p.m.

■If you feel the need to talk to someone during these stressful times, here is a link to a new confidential service called Family Support Warm Line: waypointnh.org/programs/ the-family-support-warm-line. Share with as many people as you can. Stay safe and keep healthy.

■From City Hall: Please utilize the online system or the main entrance drop box for paying city property taxes, water bills, renewing car registrations (now through May) and dog licensing renewals. Contact the City Clerk’s Office at 934-3109 with questions. For vital records (birth, marriage, or death certificates), order online at sos.nh.gov/vital_records.aspx, vitalcheck.com or by calling 1-877-878-8007. For further details on City Clerk services visit franklinnh.org/city-clerk-tax-collector. All departments are available by phone.

■The Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry regular hours are 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. The pantry is located at 2 Central St., across from Benson Auto. Pre-packed boxes will be handed at the door. If possible, please donate hand sanitizer and disposable gloves to the Food Pantry. The pantry does not need plastic supermarket bags at this time. If you are able, please consider making a donation to Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry, 2 Central St., Franklin, NH 03235.

■Franklin VNA may be able to offer some of its clinics/bereavement services. Please call 934-3454 to check what services are available.

■Continue to put aside donations for the Thrift Clothes Closet in downtown Franklin as well for Karma Korner at the high school. Karma Korner has an ongoing need for supplies such as hygiene products, underwear and laundry soap.
