■The Boscawen Public Library remains closed to the public and staff is operating on reduced hours until further notice. Curbside pickup is available. Patrons can access the library’s online catalog to view all available items by going to boscawenpubliclibrary.org, emailing boscawenpl@gmail.com, or calling 753-8576 to request items. Please make your request is 24 hours in advance. A library staff member will contact you with a pickup date. Patrons should call the library once they are in the parking lot and a staff member will deliver your items to you. Return items in the library drop box outside. Curbside pickup hours are Monday and Wednesday from 2 to -5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. Any updates can be found on the library Facebook page or website. The staff is happy to be back assisting patrons, albeit on reduced hours.

■The Canterbury Farmers Market will be reopening this coming Wednesday at the usual time, 4 to 6:30 p.m., and usual place, in the parking lot of the Elkins Public Library. The market will be held every Wednesday (unless there are thunderstorms) until Sept. 30. There will be the usual lineup of local produce, meats, eggs, dairy, maple products and more. There will not be theme activities this year, but there will be live music. The first will be Kyle Masterson. The market will have a curbside pickup. Customers will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer before entering the market, numbers of customers coming in at any one time will be monitored, prepared food must be taken off site to eat, customers are asked to send minimal family members and children must be kept with guardians at all times. ■The Canterbury Country Store can pre-bag and deliver orders of groceries thanks to local volunteers. There is a minimum order of $20. The store continues to stock local meat and dairy produce, all the basic household supplies, ice cream, candy, wine, beer and outside there are new plants from Canterbury Plantation. ■Petals in the Pines will be opening Monday with a new Tale Trail for families, plus trail hikes and walks geared to adults. There will be bird baths on the farm stand porch, plus bouquets stocked Friday through Sunday. Arrangements are available by request, too. This year there will be no “Spread Your Wings” Days, birthday parties or workshops until further notice and the Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom is also closed. ■Canterbury Shaker Village grounds are open and weekend outdoor tours will start on July 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit shakers.org for more information. Currently staff are working on updating the website. Master Gardener Lorrie Lockwood is assisting with the Resiliency Vegetable Garden. Save the date for the annual auction, to be held outdoors as a picnic on Aug. 29.
