■The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Tuesday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. at 54 Main St., to register voters and make corrections to the checklist. This is the last day to change party affiliation prior to the September. Please email supervisors@chichesternh.org ahead of time for an appointment. Applicants should bring photo ID, proof of residency, proof of citizenship and wear masks and gloves. Or you must sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications. Gov. Sununu’s Emergency Order 43 also allows a party affiliation to be changed by filling out and submitting a paper form available at chichesternh.org.
■All town meetings will be done virtually. The Board of Selectmen will hold a meeting over the phone on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
■The Planning Board will hold a public hearing via telephone on a proposal for a subdivision on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The subdivision in question is Crowell Map 4, Lot 46, 8 Smith Sanborn Road and discussion will be whether to divide and create one additional commercial lot. ■ Epsom’s annual Fishing Derby is canceled this year. We would like to thank everyone for their support of this program and hope to continue it next year.
■The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Epsom will be holding a session on Tuesday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. at the Town Office Meeting Room. Use of personal protective equipment is suggested. Prior to this date you may go online to the Town of Epsom website (epsomnh.org), click on Emergency Order 43, and you can review, print the change of party form, execute before a witness and either mail it or leave it at the Town Office. As always, you can call the town office at 736-4825 with any questions. If you are requesting an absentee ballot from the town clerk please do so as early as possible. The completed ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on Election Day.
■Betsy Bosiak, President of the Epsom Historical Association, is looking for information from families on how they are working from home and helping their children with schooling during these trying times. She is asking families to email her a paragraph (or two) and any photos and she will put these together in a booklet to keep for the Epsom Historical Society. ■The PMHS Senior Parade will be on Saturday. All graduating seniors are invited to participate in a celebratory parade starting at 5 p.m. Vehicles may start lining up on Bow Street at Pittsfield Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. The parade will depart from Bow Street at 5 p.m. and follow the Old Home Day route endings at Pittsfield Middle High School. The community is invited to cheer, congratulate and honor our graduates along the route.
■Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Tuesday at the Town Hall from 7 to 7:30 p.m. to make corrections and register new voters. This is the last day for voters already registered to change party affiliation before the election on Sept. 8.
■The Infant Toddler Diaper Pantry through the First Congregational Church will be reopening on Tuesday with new guidelines in place for the time being. The pantry will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. and asks that you please call 435-7471 when you arrive in the parking lot. Staff will place your diapers and wipes in a bag with your name attached and place it on a table in the parking lot or bring to you.
■The Beautification Committee will be planting the Island Gardens in the next week.
