A Henniker man who was driving faster than 100 mph on I-93 in Bow eventually crashed in Manchester and has been charged with several felonies, including reckless conduct.

According to state police on Thursday at 9:54 p.m., Trooper Kevin McGregor of Troop D began chasing a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta going over 100 mph on I-93 South in Bow. The car left the highway on Exit 10 and the pursuit โ€œwas terminated due to the risk to public safety.โ€

Soon afterward, Trooper McGregor came upon the car wrecked at Halstead Apartments on Country Club Drive in Manchester and arrested the driver, Kevin Gilman, 48, of Henniker.

Gilman was transported to Catholic Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. No other people were injured from the crash, police said.

Gilman was charged with disobeying a police officer, reckless driving, felony reckless conduct and driving after having his license suspended. He was released on personal recognizance bail with an arraignment date of Aug, 27, at Merrimack County Superior Court.
