Drs. Dueger
Drs. Walter and Caroline (Keegan) Dueger recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
There will married June 11, 1960, in Garden City, New York.
They celebrated quietly at home due to the pandemic.
They have two daughters, Dr. Erica Dueger and husband, Jose Leal, of Lyon, France and Dr. Stephanie Dueger and husband, Dan Riggan, in Boulder, Colo., and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Braelyn Riggan.
Prior to retirement, Walter Dueger was a cardiologist and Caroline Dueger was a pediatrician. The Duegers worked as physicians in Concord for more than 20 years. They spent much of their retirement volunteering overseas, training health care workers in developing countries, such as India, Nepal, Cambodia, and Kenya. They also pursued other interests, like photography, piano, outdoor sports, and recreational travel, and have enjoyed spending time with family.
