Times are tough. Money is tight or lacking for many. Yet here’s a newsflash that mainstream media have ignored: The U.S. Congress has just voted to gift Israel $3.8 billion and intends to do so every year for the next 10 years, up from the $3 billion a year given in the previous 10 years. Note: Israel is not a poor country. Israel is awash in modern weaponry. Israel is a brutal oppressor of its Muslim and Christian populations.

Since the U.S. is operating on a deficit budget, this money is borrowed and costing the U.S. taxpayers even more in interest. Still, our government sees nothing wrong with showering Israel with our largess while Americans stand in food donation lines. You might want to ask our members of Congress how they justify this.
