While the September primary may seem far off, there is work to be done to ensure we have the best possible candidates running in November. I’m writing to ask for your help in electing Becky Whitley, candidate for New Hampshire Senate in District 15, which includes Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, and Warner.
I’ve had the good fortune to work with Becky on a variety of state and local issues over a number of years. In her career and community life, she’s been devoted to public service. As an attorney with Disability Rights Center-N.H., she fought for improved services for the most vulnerable people in our state. After her son was born, she became an organizer with Moms Clean Air Force, mobilizing action to address the climate crisis. Recently, as policy director for the Children’s Behavioral Health Collaborative, Becky worked with families and elected officials to bring about legislative reforms to better serve at-risk children and their families.
There is no one who works harder or who is more committed to making a positive difference. Parent Information Center and N.H. Family Voices have recognized Becky for her work on behalf of children with disabilities and their families. In 2019 she was named Citizen of the Year by the N.H. chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
