■“Something Old, Something New” is the theme of Webster Old Home Day. Old Home Day will be different, but doable, with activities taking place Aug. 9 to 15 in your backyards and in your neighbor’s yard. People are asked to sign up to do yard art. Build some yard art in your front yard that people can drive by and check out – this is Webster’s new version of a parade! So far 10 families have signed up, but more would be welcome! Activity bags are being put together and will be delivered to those Webster residents who sign up. One bag per family. Message Webster Oldhomeday through Facebook with your address. Please sign up by Aug. 5 for a bag. A story walk and scavenger hunt is also being created. Everyone is encouraged to share their “New Old Home Day” activities on Facebook.
■The absentee ballot application has been updated to allow voters to request an absentee ballot for both the state primary and general elections on the same form. Also note that all voters can request to vote absentee if they are concerned about going to the polls due to COVID-19. Go to sos.nh.gov/VotingEmergency.aspx for more information.
