Education about the Holocaust and genocide (House Bill 1135, recently signed into law by Gov. Chris Sununu) is indeed important, now more than ever. I hope the final curriculum does not omit the Armenians, whose experience led to the coining of the word “genocide.” Jews were not the first people to suffer near-extinction and diaspora at the hands of butchers.
