■The Concord Knights of Columbus 112 have been renovating the creche. They have a new trailer to rebuild the building on but still need $3,500 to complete the work, in addition to lumber. ■Concord Hospital is offering an online version of “Expectations: Preparing for Your First Birth” through Zoom on Aug. 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. Participants will receive an “Understanding Your Birth” booklet via USPS mail. Upon receipt, you’ll need to activate your access by following instructions in the booklet. The certified childbirth educators review the process of labor and birth, methods for relaxation, comfort measures, birthing positions and postpartum. The cost to attend is $60 per couple.
