This coming primary in New Hampshire is one of the most important in recent years. Especially for the youth vote. With Gov. Chris Sununu vetoing a record number of bills, New Hampshire continuously misses out on progress, especially on climate and education. Recently, Sununu announced a scholarship fund for private schools while public schools are worried about funding to safely reopen in a few short weeks. When it comes to the environment, Sununu has an extensive list of failures, often siding with President Trump.

Andru Volinsky’s democratic opponent, Sen. Dan Feltes, took money from the fossil fuel industry while claiming to be a “climate champion.” Feltes has taken large donations from PACs that have ties to many industries, money he returned after a public outcry. We need a transparent governor.

New Hampshire deserves better. The youth of New Hampshire deserve better.

Volinsky is the progressive change New Hampshire needs. Volinsky has decades of experience fighting for education. He was the lead lawyer in the Claremont school funding case that solidified the constitutional right to adequate school funding. As an executive councilor, Andru challenged Sununu’s unqualified choice for education commissioner. On environment, Andru has released a bold climate plan, supports a regional Green New Deal, and opposed the Granite Bridge fracked-gas pipeline. Andru is the only candidate who isn’t taking corporate PAC money from Liberty Utilities. Clearly, Andru is dedicated to the youth of New Hampshire.
