Broken Ground School students in the 21st Century Community Learning Center after-school program tried their hands at tie-dying some white cloth face masks recently, that will be made available to students at the school who don’t have masks to wear.
Fourth-grader Kevin Mbonimpa wrote about the experience here.
One day at 21C, we were tie dye. We wanted to make masks for the school. We went outside under a big tent. I made 20 masks. Our nurse has them for kids at Broken Ground School who don’t have one. It was a lot of fun, but messy. I liked helping my school.
