CANTERBURY Share pandemic history in report

■ The Historical Society will soon be putting together Canterbury’s 2020 Town Report cover. Its subject this year will be “Canterbury and the COVID-19 Pandemic.” The society is asking residents to submit photos, drawings and your written comments/experiences during 2020 for inclusion. How has the pandemic affected you, your family and friends? How has it changed your life? How have you coped? Your responses will create a record of this extraordinary time in Canterbury. Your personal responses are important! We welcome submissions from ALL ages, young and old alike! Not every submission will appear in the Town Report, but all responses received will be placed in the Canterbury Historical Society’s archive for future researchers and historians to study and learn from. Later, a retrospective exhibit of the many responses can be made. Please send your submissions to canterbury.nh.historical.society@gmail.com no later than Jan. 18 to be sure there is time to review your material as the final layout of the cover is prepared.

WEBSTER Conservation group has Facebook page

■The Webster Conservation Commission has a new Facebook page, which you can see at facebook.com/Webster-Conservation-Commission-100317748629465. There is lots of good information on our lovely town.

■For the duration of the COVID-19 crisis, the Webster Free Public Library will not be accepting donations. The Salvation Army (by appointment), the give-away table at the transfer station and Goodwill (seven days a week starting at 10 a.m.) accept book donations. It is best to contact them right before heading over, as they sometimes put a temporary halt on accepting donations.

■Merry Christmas to everyone. Enjoy the holiday season with your family.
