WEBSTERLibrary closed while director quarantines

■The library director at the Webster Free Public Library wants to let patrons know that someone who tested positive for COVID-19 was in the library on Dec. 16 and the librarian has decided to close the library until she is sure that she did not catch the virus. Porch pick-ups are also canceled until she can consult with her doctor. If she does decide it’s safe to offer porch pickups, the information will be posted on Facebook and the library’s webpage. There was no one else in the library at the same time as the individual who is now sick.

■Happy New Year to everyone. Stay safe and healthy.
