Epsom will hold town and school deliberative sessions on Saturday, Feb. 6, beginning at 9 a.m., with the school warrant followed by the town warrant, at Epsom Central School.

The deliberative sessions are for the explanation of warrant articles, which can also be amended. The final vote on items will be done by ballot, scheduled for March 9.

The school warrant includes a $12.3 million operating budget and two trust fund appropriations. The full warrant can be found at ecs.sau53.org.

The town warrant includes a $3.5 million operating budget, the creation of a contingency fund, appropriations for several capital reserve funds, some fire department equipment purchases, a truck for the forestry department, milfoil treatment and a petitioned warrant article that would have the town encourage the state government to redraw political district maps without gerrymandering. The full warrant can be found at epsomnh.org.

Masks and social distancing will be required per protocols in the governor’s executive order. Additional parking will be available in the upper lots.

A remote option to view the session will be available and shared on Friday, Feb. 5, but only registered voters attending in person will be able to vote on amendments.
