I have heard so many negative news reports regarding the distribution of the COVID vaccine across New Hampshire that I wanted to share my experience.
I received my first vaccine dose (Pfizer) on the afternoon of Feb. 3 at the old Sears garage at the Steeplegate Mall in Concord. I was impressed by how efficient, well-organized, and well-run the program was. All the National Guard, firefighters, and others who were there knew their task and did it well. I was in line for under 10 minutes in my car, went into the garage, stayed in my car, handed my ID over, and got my vaccine. All cars were then escorted to a waiting area for 15 minutes before we could leave, and that was it.
I can assure you that the horror stories we hear do not happen in Concord. Everyone involved should take a bow for a job well done.
