Craig and Vanessa Stephen of Belmont announce the engagement of their daughter, Mckenzie Stephen, to Jordan Weaver, son of Craig and Barby Weaver of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Stephen, of Belmont, graduated from the Tilton School in 2017. She is enrolled in a bachelor’s program at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy studying marine transportation and intermodal security with expected completion in June 2021. Upon graduation, she will be working at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works in the professional development program in Maine.
Weaver, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, graduated from the Memphis Home Education Association in 2014 and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering and shipyard management. He is currently a marine engineer at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in New Hampshire.
An Oct. 1, 2021, wedding is planned.
