Nick and Ruth Perencevich of Concord announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Perencevich, to Matthew Ferner, son of Clare Ferner of Boca Raton, Fla., and Jim Ferner of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Perencevich, of Washington, D.C., earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and a master’s of public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is a program director at Grantmakers in Health.
Ferner, of Washington, D.C., earned a bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and a master’s degree in international development from the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies. He is a program officer in the sports diplomacy division of the U.S. Department of State.
