Catholic Charities NH created a “Pathways” program, offering unique career development and advancement opportunities for New Hampshire residents seeking a rewarding career in the healthcare field. The Pathways program consists of several opportunities:
■For entry-level candidates/unit aides seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license, Catholic Charities NH will provide full financial assistance to pursue an LNA Certificate program.
■For Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), Catholic Charities NH offers select full-tuition scholarship opportunities to attend a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree program at Harmony Health Care Institute in Merrimack.
■For LPNs, Catholic Charities NH offers select scholarship opportunities for Registered Nurse (RN) degrees.
While participating in these various development opportunities, healthcare professionals will also gain hands-on experience. Employees earn competitive pay and benefits. Join Nick Scheu, landscape director of The Fells, for the second of three workshops on April 14 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. In this second workshop, after a short review of tools, equipment and techniques, we will again practice our skills in the landscape. On this day we will be concentrating on summer flowering shrubs and roses, but generally working on and with select woody plants which greatly benefit from early season care and attention. All tools will be provided. Dress for the weather. Cost $5 members, $10 non-members. Attendance at the first workshop is highly recommended but not necessary.
